Meet Mark Becker
About the Owner
Hello, my name is Mark, owner and operator of Complete Lawn Care, Inc. for over 25 years. My love of lawn care began at an early age. When I was 8, I followed my dad around the yard asking him if I could take over as he was cutting the grass. He always joked and said that I wouldn’t be saying that when I get older, but all those years later it seems I have found my home in the lawn care industry.
I was born and raised in Florissant, MO and attended McCluer North High School (Class of ’96). I went on to attend Maryville University in Chesterfield and graduated with a degree in Occupational Therapy. Throughout my years of high school and college I did lawn care to earn money. Somewhere along the way I realized that I enjoyed working outdoors and being active, and decided to start Complete Lawn Care in 1999.
I believe life should be a balance between work, play and leisure. I met my wife Kyla, also a St. Louis native, out on the dance floor. We prefer country music, so most of our dancing revolved around two-stepping and line dancing. While we don’t go dancing much anymore, we do enjoy playing pickleball whenever we can.
We have 2 kids: Beau, a 7th grader, and Eloise, a 5th grader, that keep us busy. I am an assistant coach with Beau’s soccer team and enjoy watching them in all of their activities throughout the year including swimming, volleyball, tennis and basketball.
As you will see in some of the photos, we like to be active – In 2007 Kyla and I hiked the Grand Canyon from rim to rim (21 miles over the course of 3 days). In 2010 we hiked Mt. Elbert in Colorado, which is one of the many “14ers”; I have gone on to hike a total of 7 of them. We also love BBQ – whether it is in our own back yard or at our St. Louis favorite Pappy’s Smokehouse (www.pappyssmokehouse.com).
I care deeply about my business, and want to ensure we are always providing the best service possible while focusing on the safety of our team members and our community. Hi, I’m Karen and I have been part of the Complete Lawn Care Team Since January 2018. As the Office Manager, I handle much of the internal components of the business, as well as client billing and invoicing. I have extensive knowledge in this field as I have been working in it for over 14 years.

I was born and raised in Florissant, MO, and attended University of MO, St. Louis for Finance. I am very blessed to have 2 twin daughters, 3 granddaughters, 2 great-granddaughters, and 1 great-grandson! I enjoy staying active, and attending church where I can spend quality time with good friends and family. Coming from a family of landscapers, I have been landscaping and cutting lawns since I was very young. I was born in MO, raised in Wentzville (Holt Graduate ‘18), and graduated from the University of MO, St. Louis with a Bachelors in Business Administration/Finance (’22). In my free time, I enjoy playing instruments such as trumpet or guitar, and volunteering for my community. I look forward to working with you to help turn your property into something to admire!
