We have general liability insurance that covers the business operations. As well as Worker’s compensation insurance that covers our workers while working on your property.
Unfortunately there are no regulations in place for being licensed to be in the lawn care business. The only one that is required is for the application of Fertilization and Weed Control products which is monitored by the Missouri Department of Agriculture. Visit the database of all of the Licensed Applicators for Missouri.
We use both commercial walk behind and riding mowers that range from 3-5′ in width.
From a testimonial in 2005, “After seeing what a different lawn care company had done to my neighbor’s lawn with those commercial mowers, I swore I would never let anyone use one on my yard. I reluctantly took your word and let you use your mowers on my lawn and to my surprise after the entire summer I have no damage to my hillside.” JB 2005.
We bill monthly for lawn maintenance and currently accept check or money order. This way there is no need to leave a check under the mat. We also have a budget billing option, which will provide for 12 equal payments. All invoices are sent out by the 5th of the month for the previous month's services and all payments are due by the end of the month.
Landscaping is billed upon completion of the service and may require a deposit.
For commercial properties yes we do. For residential, it is a service agreement that is continuous from year to year without a set term and is cancellable at any time.
